Scott Hendison posted on Google+ that he noticed a new goals interface to add goals within Google Analytics.

I personally do not see the new administrative interface for setting up goals, but some are. Scott said:

Google has a brand new interface for adding goals.

Another Google Analytics user confirmed it is new but only sees it on a few of his Analytics account. He also said the "Import from Gallery" is new also.
Here is a picture of the new interface:

  1. The update to the Google Analytics goals interface makes it much easier to track meaningful user actions, especially for download-focused sites. Setting up goals around file downloads can really improve insight into user intent and conversions. I’ve seen this work well when tracking tools like 3uTools Download, where clearer goal configuration helps measure real engagement rather than just traffic.

  2. Great breakdown of the Google Analytics goals interface—especially the emphasis on aligning goals with real conversion actions and using events for better accuracy. I’ve found that revisiting goal funnels regularly uncovers drop-off points teams often miss, and keeping a quick reference handy like a Fluxus executor download checklist helps speed up audits without overcomplicating the setup.
